What's Included in the Template
The template includes the following columns for each subscription: service name, provider, monthly cost, annual cost (calculated automatically), billing date, payment method (bank, credit card, PayPal, Apple, Google), category (streaming, software, fitness, etc.), last used date, value rating (1–5) and notes.
The summary dashboard tab shows total monthly and annual spend broken down by category, and highlights subscriptions rated 1–2 (candidates for cancellation).
How to Use the Template
Open the template
Click "Open in Google Sheets" and make a copy (File → Make a copy) to your own Google Drive.
Add your subscriptions
Go through your bank statements, credit card statements, PayPal and app store subscriptions. Add each one as a row.
The costs calculate automatically
Enter the monthly cost and billing frequency — the template converts everything to a monthly and annual figure automatically.
Rate each subscription
Give each subscription a value rating (1–5). Low-rated subscriptions are highlighted for review.
Review the dashboard
The summary tab shows total spend by category and flags candidates for cancellation.
