Corrections
What we do when we get something wrong, and a list of what we have got wrong.
Last updated 11 August 2026
The policy
- Factual errors are corrected on the page and logged here. We do not silently edit a page and move on.
- This log is append-only. If a correction later turns out to be wrong, it gets a new entry rather than an edit.
- A correction that lowers our own product’s score is published on the same terms as any other. Several below do exactly that.
- Report an error to info@innopulse.io. A link to the page and a source is enough.
Where a correction concerns how a product is scored, the change is made in the feature matrix described on the methodology page, and the score recomputes on its own.

Removed the claim that this site is independent and "not affiliated with any subscription tracking app".
It was false. Innopulse Consulting GmbH operates both this site and SubTracker.io. The claim appeared in the imprint, the About page and the homepage FAQ.
Affected: /impressum, /about, /

Removed AggregateRating structured data reporting 5.0 from one review.
A single self-authored review is not aggregate user-review data and is not eligible for that markup. It existed to produce star ratings in search results.
Affected: /app

Corrected SubTracker pricing in structured data from "Pro Monthly EUR 3.99 / Pro Annual EUR 29.99" to the real figures ($5.90/month, $49/year).
Those EUR prices do not exist and never did. The visible page showed the correct prices while the schema advertised different ones.
Affected: /app

Removed the description of SubTracker as "EU-hosted" across roughly 40 places on this site.
SubTracker’s database is hosted in London, United Kingdom. That is not the EU. Where data location matters we now state the location rather than implying a legal conclusion.
Affected: /app, /countries/*, review and comparison pages

Withdrew the claim that SubTracker’s free plan covers unlimited subscriptions.
The limit is enforced by the product backend and we had not independently confirmed it. We now say a free plan exists and state no figure.
Affected: /app, /reviews/subtracker

Corrected SubTracker’s platform list from "Web, iOS, Android" to "Web".
There is no native iOS or Android application. This also lowered its score on the platform-availability criterion.
Affected: /app, /reviews/subtracker, comparison tables

Removed "we test every app ourselves with paid accounts" and all hands-on testing claims.
We have not done that across eighteen products. The site is now described as a documented capability assessment, and ease of use and support quality are excluded from scoring for that reason.
Affected: sitewide

Replaced hand-typed 0–5 scores with computed 0–10 scores, and removed the "Editor’s Choice 2026" badge from SubTracker.
A hand-typed score from the product’s own operator is not a review. Scores now come from a published weighted model; on it SubTracker ranks third, not first.
Affected: sitewide

Removed city-level "average monthly spend" figures.
They were produced by taking one number and re-labelling it in each local currency. That is not city data, and presenting it as such was misleading.
Affected: /countries/*/*
